Taking Taxis Just Got Greener Thanks to Nissan LEAF EV

Nobody would argue the fact that mustard-colored cabs are as much of a New York City staple as hot dog vendors and crowded streets. But just because the high-use of taxis isn't changing, doesn't mean the way in which those traffic-weaving vehicles operate has to stay the same. Beginning next spring, NYC will introduce six electric Nissan LEAF cabs into the mix, giving the taxicab industry a bit more eco-friendly cred.
