Nissan is mulling over options for its 4th EV model already. And who can blame them? After winning serious praise and pulling in several awards for the Nissan LEAF, the automaker deserves to plunge ahead with confidence.

Taking Taxis Just Got Greener Thanks to Nissan LEAF EV

Nobody would argue the fact that mustard-colored cabs are as much of a New York City staple as hot dog vendors and crowded streets. But just because the high-use of taxis isn't changing, doesn't mean the way in which those traffic-weaving vehicles operate has to stay the same. Beginning next spring, NYC will introduce six electric Nissan LEAF cabs into the mix, giving the taxicab industry a bit more eco-friendly cred.

Nissan and City Ventures Alliance to Create EV-Ready Homes

It seems that Nissan is bringing green living to the U.S. housing market.  Earlier this month, the Japanese automaker announced a new joint project with City Ventures aimed at pre-wiring 190 houses in the state of California.
