Nissan Titan Is On Its Way

Automakers across the board were affected by the natural disasters which took place in Japan this past march. Fortunately, Nissan officials are dedicated to getting their production facilities back in action as soon as possible. Due to the fact that so much energy is going into re-openings, however, the company has had to slow development of the next-generation Nissan Titan. It's alright though; Mathews Nissan thinks the upcoming model is certainly worth the wait.

Currently scheduled to begin production in 2013, the new variant has had a difficult road. Originally slated to release in 2011, the model has been jostled around to different production locations and fallen susceptible to challenges outside the Nissan walls. Therefore, it's a good thing that the full-size truck is expecting some intriguing new developments for its eventual debut.

Larry Dominique, Former Nissan executive, says, "We could do downsized powertrains; we could do an enhanced V-8; and we could look at diesel powertrains."1 Whatever designers decide, you can bet that Nissan fans like those at Mathews Nissan will be the first to get a hold of information as soon as it arrives.

In case you aren't entirely familiar with the model, the current Nissan Titan holds a 317-hp, 5.6-liter V-8 with a five-speed automatic transmission and has enough space to seat up to six people. This off-road equipped truck and many other new Nissan models are available at Mathews Nissan, 185 Highway 76 Clarksville, TN 37043.
